Dear American Press,

Why aren’t you reporting that the Iraqi shoe-thrower had his ribs and arm broken? It’s all over the news in every other country, yet you tow the line and dismiss claims or simply neglect to report this. Why are you letting an Iraqi spokesman tell the world he hasn’t been beaten, get in there, look at him and tell us yourselves. Him not showing up in court is extremely suspicious. You are helping to hide him away so we don’t have any evidence to be royally pissed off. I don’t want my press helping foreign governments cover up beatings, get out there and set things straight.
