Twitter: Are You Old School?

joelaz:

Are you an old school or new school Twitter user? Twitter user ID’s appear to be assigned sequentially, meaning a lower number indicates that the user joined the service relatively early. To find your user ID, visit your timeline on Twitter, click the RSS feed link, and look for a number in the URL. For example, my feed uses this URL:

http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/917.atom

So, I was the 917th person to create an account on Twitter (back in October 2006 when it was called Twttr.com).

What’s your number?

What is the old school threshold? 3 digit numbers is hardcore, 4 digit numbers is respectable, 5 digits and you’re a twitter baby. 2995 isn’t bad.

Reminds me of the ICQ numbers, I was always jealous of my friend’s 6 digit number as opposed to my 7 digit one.
