There’s something about the impermanence of electronic media that is unsatisfying. You can always edit, update and change things online, but it’s not so easy to reprint, retype, or rewrite physical objects. As more and more things go online, these handmade physical objects will become precious. I think we’re seeing it now with things like Etsy, Make, moleskine, etc. Some sentiments deserve heartfelt permanence.
