I find statistics like this absolutely fascinating. Widely held beliefs are often wrong and it’s only with actual statistical sampling that we can work to correct them. It is up to all of us to turn a skeptical eye on the world and really question everything that we take for granted. Sure, it may be easier to just keep on believing what you’ve always known, but then again you’re version of reality definitely won’t line up with the rest of the world’s.
